Me gustó, pero es una pelicula dura y difícil....pero tambien totalmente recomendable.

A Serius Man / Um Homem Serio

Here they come the Coen Brothers again…their movies are always quite different, but always show us intelligent way of doing cinema.

I have to recognize I’m not the biggest fan about Jewish, and during last years we have seen so many movies talking about Jewish from different points of view.

Here we can see the Jewish community in the 60s in the USA. A man who thinks is happy with an stable life, but suddenly he realizes that it is not true. Everything collapsed around him, wife, brother, colleagues, children,… I think the interesting point about this movie is the way the Cohen Brothers talk about the relationships inside the Jewish community. But this could be extrapolated to any other religious community, how religions set our way of living, our way of reactions to things it happens in our daily life…

Invictus

Que decir de Clint Eastwood, cada vez es mas un sello de garantia de cine de calidad, cualquiera que sea la tematica de la película. Tenia curiosidad por ver esta pelicula despues de haber leido el libro La Leona Blanca de Henning Mankell (el que lo haya leido sabra por qué). Y es una pelicula con mucha fuerza, mucha energia, ...no me gusta el futbol y no entiendo el Rugby, como Mandela,...pero si podemos utilizar estas cosas para unir pueblos...que viva el futbol y el rugby. No sé si la gente saldra del cine sabiendo el increible logro de Mandela. Después de 30 años en la carcel, consigue llegar a ser presidente, y en vez de sacar esos rencores, odios y sed de venganza de los negros en Sudafrica, consigue canalizar, catalizar todo eso para que los blancos (antes opresores) convivan con los negros (antes una raza inferior). Enhorabuena.

A Single Man / Um Homem Singular

Interessante filme e fantástica interpretação a de Colin Firth, e como tal recebeu em Veneza o prémio ao melhor actor. Interessante porque fala da homossexualidade nos anos 60s nos USA, dentro da classe alta mais fala...e com normalidade, porque o assunto principal do filme é o sofrimento. Excelente a forma de contar a historia, e todas os recordações desse amor, com o que compartilho 16 anos, cheiros, imagens, fotos, palavras, comidas,..etc..ah e parabéns também a Julianne Moore...

Whatever Works / Woody Allen

Fantastica!!! ...divertida, irónica, honesta, entretenida, surrealista, a veces irrealista, pero fantastica. Diáologos ingeniosos y acidos...cualquier cosa puede funcionar...

UP IN THE AIR

Just George Clooney,....it is a nice movie, and interesting but nothing special. Too much George Clooney, it takes advantage of the USA unemploiment situation....sometimes cruel, sometimes funny.
