Das Weisse Band / La Cinta Blanca / O Laço Branco

Fantástico filme o do Haneke, mas não esperem algo bonito e agradável, filme verbalmente violento, ... desde os miúdos aos adultos todos escondem segredos e rancores, e ódios, e invejas, uma pequena comunidade que pode representar a Alemanha justo antes da primeira guerra mundial.. filme austero, alem de branco e preto, não há musica, apenas o piano .... alguma vez...

Ágora - Amenabar - AAA+

It was really good to see again an Amenabar film. Even that the reviews in some webs or journals were not good i really liked and enjoyed this film. It is not a super american production full of special effects but it has its effects, but the most important is the story, interesting and very good job of Raquel Weisz. Some people said that it is strange that Hypatia does not have any sexual life, it is true but also it is true she was so focused in her studies...and she only needed emotional feeling, with her father or the slave Davus, or even Aspasius...even Orestes, but she was completely a free woman, thinking about how does the world work...without prejudices or religions to limit her thoughs...and it was in IV century aC, in some countries now still in Europe women are not such a free as Hypatia was.
